We the International Union of Electronic, Electrical, Salaried, Machine and Furniture Workers, AFL-CIO Local 106 realize that the struggle to better our working conditions is in vain unless we are united to protect ourselves collectively against the forces of employers.
Realizing that the old craft of trade union organization is obsolete and unable to effectively defend the interests of the wage earners, we the International Union of Electronic, Electrical, Salaried, Machine and Furniture Workers, AFL-CIO, Local 106, form an organization which unites all workers in our industry on an industrial basis, rank and file control regardless of craft, age, sex, nationality, race, religion, to pursue at all times, a policy of aggressive struggle to improve our conditions.
